Here are some things we’ve done.

Below you will find a link to the groups we’ve partnered with so far. We have traveled to these beautiful places and grown in mutual affection for the caregivers, teachers, and children there. These children have big stories of loss and illness and poverty, and even bigger hearts. We are overwhelmed to witness their gratitude and joy amidst such challenge. We go to give to them, but end up receiving more.

Our biggest passions include: improving structures like bathrooms, kitchens, and playground facilities, providing food and clean water, supporting educational needs, and helping caregivers. We are a non-profit supported fully by volunteers, allowing 100% of our donations to go directly to orphaned children and their caregivers.

Tilapia Farm in Limon, Honduras.

Spring 2018

It all begins with connecting with the community to determine the best way to support them. It was suggested that large tanks be built to harvest tilapia fish, as a way to provide protein for the children and generate some extra money for expenses through selling extra fish. Three large tanks have been built. The project has been successful and self-sustaining for long-term impact.

Msmaria Center for Street Children cares for up to 70 children, taking care of each child through college. It’s a special place where safety, love, and education are important. They rent facilities and were required to relocate recently. We were able to financially support the move, which included a nicer school and play area. The cost is $7,500 a year.

Orphanage Facilities Project

For 2020 we are providing housing cost for 60+ orphans ages 2-22 in Moshi, Tanzania, and plan to help them build a new permanent facility in 2021! The desire of Msmaria Center for Street Children is a permanent facility in order to provide consistent stability for the children. Detailed building plans have been established, but we need to purchase land and decide on the builders. The estimated cost of this project is $90,000. We are dreaming big and standing with them to accomplish this important goal.

We can’t do it without you!

May 2020- We were able to send $3000 to Mr. Mapunda at Msmaria to help with COVID-19 response. After his letter concerning the needs of the facility (attached on the donation page), we were able to respond and help! Thank you for your support!
